Music, madness, murder and Mozart: 2nd Story Theatre’s presentation of Amadeus (extended through February 24) enters the mind of the greatest musical genius of all time. It’s a breathtaking tale of the death of Mozart, as plotted by his nemesis. This riveting take on Peter Shaffer’s famous script is full of dramatic theatrics. It is considered one of the most brilliant play writes in the last 50 years. Amadeus is mostly fiction but is based on facts of Mozart’s life. Without giving away the ending one can say that the play certainly lives up to its reputation. It is a truly gripping story of the legend known as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
