The East Bay may be short on furniture shops, but with the opening of O&G Studio’s stylish street-level storefront you can add one more to the list. The 1,200-square-foot space on Maple Avenue in Barrington caters to designers and customers looking to experience firsthand the brand’s high-quality modern heirloom pieces. “This was a move to create a more accessible and inspiring presence right here in Rhode Island where we call home, “ says co-founder Sara Ossana.

Ossana and her co-founder Jonathan Glatt, both RISD grads and New England transplants, have been making their timeless furnishings in the East Bay for almost a decade. “There’s such a concentration of creative talent in the area and we can’t help but want to be a part of this exciting new wave of American design coming out of New England,” says Glatt.

The new showroom is larger than the company’s previous one in the same building as its Warren factory, and features the brand’s iconic Windsor chairs, settees and benches, tables, lighting, and mirrors. “Our pieces play nice with objects around them and can complement a huge range of styles, while also making a statement on their own,” says Ossana.

In addition to showcasing their furniture and accessories at the new space, the company also plans to host special events throughout the year to support the local creative community.
