The Farm Coast Art & Garden Ramble returns June 13 with a simple premise: follow what catches your eye. For one Saturday, Historic Tiverton Four Corners becomes a choose-your-own-adventure of local art, blooming gardens, live music, and neighborhood wandering where the best plans are usually the ones you didn’t make.
Now entering its fifth year, the free event invites visitors to slow down and spend the day moving between galleries, shops, gardens, and outdoor displays while meeting artists and makers whose work reflects the creative spirit of the Farm Coast region. Organizers say the goal is to “share the beauty of art and nature while fostering community connections through creativity,” and the event has built a reputation for doing exactly that.
This year’s Ramble is growing, with additional vendors and even more reasons to linger. Along the way, visitors can browse original artwork ranging from vibrant watercolors to ocean-inspired pieces and meet local artisans creating everything from tree-to-table goods and block printing to functional pottery and handcrafted finds.
And because this is Tiverton, there’s a good chance you’ll arrive planning to browse and leave wondering where you’re going to put your new plant.
The pop-up garden market returns with fragrant plants, native shrubs, and fresh flowers ready to bring a little life back to porches, patios, and backyard corners. Elsewhere throughout Four Corners, shoppers can discover handcrafted textile bags, copper bird baths, coastal-inspired jewelry, and pieces that feel distinctly New England without trying too hard.
Live music from Prairie Bird will drift through the neighborhood all day, setting the soundtrack for an event that feels less like a market and more like an invitation to stay awhile. Local shops and galleries will extend their hours, adding even more places to pop into as the afternoon unfolds.
Admission is free and open to the public, with additional parking available nearby and signage throughout the area. Rain or shine, the Ramble will go on, moving into the Meeting House if needed. For event details and more information, visit tivertonfarmersmarket.com.
