This month, Sakonnet Vineyard is serving up a packed lineup of community events, performances, and easygoing afternoons designed to linger over. Between award-winning wines, charcuterie boards, flatbreads, and live entertainment throughout the month, there's no shortage of reasons to take the scenic route. Here's what's pouring this June:
June 5: Trivia Night with Gary Farias
Kick off the month by putting that random knowledge to good use. The free trivia night runs from 6-8pm. and pairs perfectly with a glass of wine and a competitive streak.
June 6: Stefan Couture
Modern acoustic sounds set the tone for a relaxing Saturday afternoon among the vines. Bring friends, grab a tasting flight, and settle in for live music from 1-4pm.
June 7 and June 28: Mary McAvoy
Known for blending R&B, pop, and singer-songwriter influences, McAvoy takes the stage twice this month. Her performances bookend June with easygoing weekend energy.
June 13 and June 27: Ruby Mac
The singer-songwriter returns for two Saturday performances featuring original music and pop-inspired sounds. Consider it a good excuse to revisit the vineyard before the month is over.
June 14: Grace Cooper Hall
Pop and rock favorites take center stage during this Sunday afternoon performance. It's the kind of soundtrack that feels right at home on a summer vineyard patio.
June 20: Frank Foot
Expect a little bit of everything, from rock and reggae to country, blues, and Top 40 hits. Musical indecisiveness has never sounded so good.
June 21: Avi Jacob
Jacob blends folk, Americana, and R&B influences for an afternoon performance that pairs nicely with coastal vineyard views and a leisurely Sunday pace.
June 28: Helger Classic Car Show
Vintage vehicles take over the vineyard grounds from 8am-2pm. Whether you're a dedicated car enthusiast or simply appreciate a little nostalgia, this annual gathering is worth a look.
New this season, Sakonnet Vineyard is also debuting guided vineyard tours Wednesday through Sunday.
